Sales/decorating
Job Description- Rudd Furniture Company
Rudd Furniture Company is looking for
Furniture Sales Consultants that are energetic and great communicators. No
matter what your background is we are looking for top performers that are
looking to achieve greatness in a new career as a Rudd Furniture Company Sales
Consultant.
FURNITURE SALES CONSULTANT MAJOR FUNCTION:
·
To meet and greet customers, discover their needs, and show merchandise.
Maintain sales goals and selling standards as specified by management.
·
Must be able to produce a level of sales by serving customers, by selling
products, meeting customer needs.
FURNITURE SALES CONSULTANT SPECIFIC DUTIES:
·
Reinforce customer selections (closing).
·
Give suggestions, and add-on sales.
·
Explain special financing plans, delivery procedures, warranties, etc.
·
Follow up with customers on a timely basis after delivery.
·
Solicit customers per management plans and own incentive (personal
contact, letters, thank you notes, special promotion contact).
·
Coordinate delivery with customer and warehouse personnel.
·
Maintain assigned areas and assist in keeping showroom attractive and
neat.
·
Complete appropriate paperwork for all sales.
·
Must be familiar with furniture styles and products.
·
Must work Saturdays.
·
Responsible for security of store and store merchandise.
FURNITURE SALES CONSULTANT
REQUIREMENTS:
·
Sales experience is preferred but not required.
·
Must be familiar with furniture styles and products.
·
Computer literacy required.
·
Excellent communication skills and motivation needed.
Delivery/warehouse
· Rudd Furniture Company is looking for delivery and warehouse persons that are energetic and great communicators. No matter what your background is we are looking for top performers that are looking to achieve greatness in a new career with Rudd Furniture Company.
Delivery/warehouse major functions:

Deliver merchandise.
·
Must be able to lift/carry heavy items.
FURNITURE DELIVERY/WAREHOUSE SPECIFIC DUTIES:
· Unload/load trucks
· Unbox and inspect new furniture items.
·
Contact customers to schedule customer service.
·
·
Coordinate delivery with customer.
·
Maintain warehouse areas and assist in keeping showroom attractive and
neat.
·
Complete appropriate paperwork for all deliveries.
·
Must be familiar with furniture styles and products.
·
Responsible for security of store and store merchandise.
FURNITURE DELIVERY/WAREHOUSE
REQUIREMENTS:
· Drivers must obtain a Doctors certificate .... Drug Card.
·
Must be able to work Monday thru Saturday 8-6.
·
Must be in good physical shape and able to lift/carry heavy items..
·
Excellent communication skills and motivation needed.
·
Must have a good knowledge about the Dothan or Montgomery delivery areas.
